Founded in the heart of London, Lipsy was first established as a wholesale brand in 1988, before opening a number of concessions within Topshop and other department stores. 
Due to continued success Lipsy went on to launch their online, which was soon followed by their first retail store in London back in 2008. 2008 was a huge year for the brand as they were also acquired by Next, elevating them further within the UK market place. 

Today Lipsy is sold in 80 stores internationally and in the UK. In addition, Lipsy has concessions within major department stores worldwide and trades internationally through several franchise partners. They have successfully collaborated with a number of key celebrities including Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, Pixie Lott and Michelle Keegan.

In addition to statement dresses, Lipsy successfully designs and sells an outstanding collection of separates, outerwear and knitwear. Many people do not know that the business has successfully launched its 5th fragrance, that it sells beauty products and has licensed product across several categories including watches and jewellery.
